After a failed attempt at camping at Abrams Falls, on account of all the sites being full, a group of us ventured to Look Rock (also after driving aimlessly to find cell service to locate another nearby campsite). At the time it was frustrating, but there's something oddly liberating about not have any service. You're just able to be wherever you are- fully.

Nights spent around a campfire, sipping hot cider and filled with friends and laughter will be something I never tire of doing. Like the old, familiar saying "you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl."
And of course you know you're back in Tennessee when...
