Shorts are no longer reserved for the hot summer months, and this time they come in not only denim, but warm, luxurious fabrics like tweed, wool, and leather. And to throw a little sparkle in our step, we've even seen them dipped in sequins. In addition, tights are also not restricted to the color black (although it's probably the most flattering color, so keep a pair on hand!) If you're feeling a little more daring you can try deep plum, dark brown, or as seen below on Leighton Meester (better known as Blair Waldorf), a primary red. But keep in mind, if you're going for such a bright color below, make sure to keep it more monochromatic with darker hues on top!
So don't pack up your summer shorts just yet. Throw on a pair of tights, and you've instantly winterized your wardrobe!
