Winter Wedding Wonderland

It's crazy to think that one of my friends will be getting married in a mere 9 days! Though, we all knew it was a long time coming, what to wear is still up in the air. When I think of a winter wedding, sparkles, white flowers, shimmer, and shiney things immediately all come to mind. And I'm not talking about just the decorations!! Weddings are the perfect excuse to play dress up, so take advantage of this opportunity. For me, I'm thinking sequins, but let's be real, you don't want to show up dressed super flashy, so it's more like sequins toned down a bit. If you go this route, be sure to balance it out, by either doing a sequin skirt with a neutral top, or a neutral skirt with a sequin top. Now, let's talk shoes- you'll be dancing, so make sure they're comfortable. If you try them on in the store and can barely walk without rolling your ankle, it's time to try a new pair. During a quick break from studying last weekend, I picked up a great pair of black suede pumps- perfect for the wedding, and you can bet that won't be the last time I wear them!
