Dessert Fruit Pizza

Pleasing to the eye and easy to put together, this tasty dessert is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and fulfill your daily dose of fruit all in one bite. But I betcha you won't stop there! All you have to do is take your average pizza, swap out the wheat dough for sugar cookie dough, replace the marinara sauce with a fluffy, marshmellow cream cheese mixture, and toss the cheese and pepperoni to the side for strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and kiwi (or pretty much any fruit of your choice!) and you've just made your very own fruit pizza. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 rolls of sugar cookie dough

1 (8oz) jar of marshmellow fluff

1 1/2 blocks of cream cheese

Fruit of your choice! But I used strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and kiwi. Not sure of the exact measurements, but if you have any left over they always make for a great little healthy snack!

Directions:

1. Flatten out the cookie dough onto a non-stick circular pan until it resembles a giant cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 min or until golden brown. Let completely cool.

2. Combine cream cheese and marshmellow cream to make the "sauce," and then spread onto the cooled cookie crust.

3. Slice up the fruits to your desired size & decorate in any way you see fit!

4. Warning: Entire pizza may disappear 2 hours of completion.

  1. Wow, that looks freakin' amazing. I've actually always wondered what the bases of dessert pizzas were made out of. Now I know!

  2. Oh my gosh! You made fruit pizza!! This reminds me of being back in college - our cook at the sorority house (Go Chi Omega!) used to make this for dessert and it was a favorite of all the girls! I LOVE this!!!
